10-Day Freeride Snowboard Package

10 days on snow 11 days total Snowboarding Advanced

About this package

The board equivalent of our longest freeride trip. Ten guided days built around whatever the storm cycle actually delivers, not a fixed script written in advance. For riders, the length matters more than it does for skiers, because a bad snow week on a board is a longer and flatter experience than it is on skis. Ten days gives your guide the freedom to move the riding to the days worth riding. This is lift accessed off piste in avalanche terrain and it assumes you already ride confidently on piste and in variable snow. The trip runs 11 days in total with arrival and departure.

Pricing is built around the equipment you already own. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a longer trip better for snowboarders specifically?

Riding off piste in poor snow is more work on a board than on skis, and flat runouts are less forgiving. A longer trip means more of your days land on the snow you came for.

How fit do I need to be?

Fitter than for a resort holiday. Ten days at altitude in deep snow is genuinely tiring, and the riders who enjoy the back half of the trip are usually the ones who did some cardio beforehand.

Can I bring my own board?

Yes. Freeride snowboard equipment is included, but if you would rather ride your own setup, tell us before booking and we will build the quotation around that.

What is the weather like across ten days in Gulmarg?

Variable, which is the whole reason for the length. Expect a mix of clear cold days, heavy snowfall, and at least one day where visibility makes higher terrain a bad idea.

Do you run this trip as a private booking?

Talk to us about it at enquiry. Group composition and guide availability both affect what is possible for your dates.
