7-Day Beginner Snowboard Package
About this package
A full week of daily coaching, built for riders who want to leave Gulmarg linking turns confidently on blue terrain rather than still fighting their edges. The extra days over the 5 day course go into terrain variety and edge control, which is where most self taught riders plateau for years. Seven days also gives you room for one bad weather day without losing the thread of the course. One private instructor stays with you the whole week, and equipment, lift passes and hotel transport are covered. The trip runs 8 days in total with arrival and departure.
Pricing is built around the equipment you already own. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a quotation.

Frequently asked questions
I have ridden a few times before. Is this course still useful?
Often more useful than a beginner course for a true first timer. Riders who taught themselves usually carry a habit or two that holds them back, and a week with an instructor is enough to fix it.
How sore will I be?
Sore. Snowboarding uses your legs, core and, in the first days, your backside. Most riders find days two and three the worst and then adapt.
Is there any powder riding in this course?
Some, if the snow arrives and your instructor thinks you are ready for gentle terrain just off the piste. Serious powder riding in Gulmarg means avalanche terrain and belongs in the freeride packages.
Can I do half days instead of full days?
Talk to your instructor. Shorter days with good focus often beat long tired ones, and the schedule has room to adapt.
What is the difference between this and the 10 day course?
This one ends at confident blue run riding. The 10 day course adds carving work and a proper assessment at the end.
